Why use a CA rather than a portal

Filing software will complete whatever you type into it. A Chartered Accountant asks the questions that change the outcome — whether the old or new regime leaves you better off this year, whether an allowance has been claimed correctly, whether a capital gain can be set off against a carried-forward loss, whether income appearing in your AIS has been accounted for. Those judgements are where the money is, and they are also what keeps a notice from arriving eighteen months later. We prepare your computation, share it with you for approval, and only then file.

  • Correct regime selection. We compute your liability under both the old and new regimes and file under whichever genuinely costs you less.
  • Every deduction claimed. Sections 80C, 80D, 80G, home loan interest, HRA and the rest, claimed correctly and with the right evidence.
  • AIS and 26AS reconciled. Mismatches between your return and the department's data are the single biggest trigger for notices.
  • All ITR forms covered. ITR-1 through ITR-7, including capital gains, house property, business income and foreign assets.
  • Required for loans and visas. Banks and consulates routinely ask for the last two or three years of filed returns.
  • Draft shared before filing. Nothing is submitted until you have seen the computation and agreed it.

Documents you'll need

  • PAN and Aadhaar.
  • Form 16 from your employer, if salaried.
  • Bank statements for the financial year.
  • Investment proofs — LIC, PPF, ELSS, health insurance, home loan interest certificate.
  • Capital gains statements from your broker or mutual fund, if you traded.
  • Rent receipts or rental income details, as applicable.
  • Business books — profit and loss account and balance sheet, for business income.

How the process runs

1
Share your documentsUpload Form 16, bank statements and investment proofs through a secure link, or send them on WhatsApp if that's easier.
2
CA review and computationYour CA reconciles against your AIS and Form 26AS, computes income and deductions, and compares both tax regimes.
3
You approve the draftWe send you the computation showing exactly how the figure was arrived at. Nothing is filed until you confirm.
4
Filed and e-verifiedThe return is submitted and e-verified, and the acknowledgement is sent to you the same day. Refunds, where due, follow from the department.
Missed the deadline?

A belated return can usually still be filed, with a late fee under section 234F and interest on any unpaid tax. Updated returns under section 139(8A) extend the window further in many cases. If you have unfiled years, call us — it is almost always better to come forward than to wait for a notice.

Frequently asked

Do I need to file if tax was already deducted?
Yes, if your gross total income exceeds the basic exemption limit, filing is mandatory regardless of TDS already deducted. Filing is also how you claim a refund where excess tax was deducted — which, for most salaried people with investments, is a meaningful sum.
Old regime or new regime?
It depends entirely on your deductions. The new regime has lower rates but removes most exemptions; the old regime suits those with substantial 80C investments, home loan interest or HRA claims. We calculate both and file under whichever leaves you better off — this is included in the fee.
Can you file for freelancers and traders?
Yes. We handle professional and business income under ITR-3 and ITR-4, including presumptive taxation under sections 44AD and 44ADA, and equity, F&O and crypto gains. Complex cases may be quoted slightly differently, which we tell you upfront.
How long until my refund arrives?
Usually within two to six weeks of e-verification for straightforward returns, though it depends on departmental processing. Make sure your bank account is pre-validated on the income tax portal, as an unvalidated account is the commonest reason refunds stall.
★★★★★

"They found deductions I had completely missed and explained the regime comparison clearly rather than just telling me what to do. The refund was noticeably larger than the previous year."
